Evans Scholars Foundation
This month, BMW of Denver Downtown will make a donation to the foundation for every new BMW we sell or lease this month.
The Evans Scholars Foundation (ESF) is the sole charity of the BMW Championship. Known as golf's favorite charity, the ESF has been sending highly qualified men and women caddies to college since 1930. Scholarships are awarded on the merits of academic excellence, outstanding character, proven leadership and demonstrated financial need. The ESF has sent over 10,000 scholars to college since the program began in 1930. The BMW Championship has raised over $14 million for the Evans Scholars since the tournament's inception in 2007. 14th Annual Randy Weeks Memorial Golf Tournament
DCPA's annual fundraiser supports arts in education programs that educate, entertain and excite. In our Denver classrooms, on our stages and in schools around the state, more than 106,000 students of all ages worked with the DCPA last year. Proceeds from the Tournament help underwrite important efforts, including:
- DCPA provided 500 visits to schools throughout Colorado, offering in-school curricula to enhance core academic standards
- Nearly 22,000 youth benefited from free and reduced-price tickets, matinees for their schools, and special Student Nights
- DCPA contributed to workforce development through a multiple industry courses, a Career Readiness program and Job Shadow Days. We also offer Playwriting and Musical Theatre Competitions for High School students.
