While 2024 saw big changes for the BMW XM, 2025 keeps the formula largely the same. That said, a new tech update does make highway driving more convenient.

Exterior Design
The oversized kidney grille design concept lives on in the 2025 BMW XM, sat between a pair of narrowed LED headlights with twin signature lights on each side. Aggressive angles are a stark departure from the understated nature of most BMW SUVs, and the bold looks ensure that the new XM is a true showstopper when you take it out on the town.
The aggressive upper grilles are accentuated by an equally bold lower grille and chin spoiler that give the 2025 BMW XM a truly angsty face. A sloping roofline and wide stance give this luxury crossover more sporty proportions, while the premium touch of LED character lines is a true signature touch.
Interior Design
The cabin of the 2025 BMW XM celebrates both the old and the new. The 2025 BMW XM is an ultra-high performance plug-in hybrid crossover. It uses a 4.4-liter BMW M TwinPower Turbocharged V8 engine plus an electric motor to deliver a combined 644 horsepower. You'll get xDrive all-wheel drive to get that power to the ground, and the instant torque of the electric motors will provide ferocious acceleration when you put your foot down. And as it's a plug-in hybrid, you can use the BMW XM without burning a drop of fuel for up to 30 miles, so your short jaunts across town won't have you worried about fuel costs.
When you put your foot down from a stop, zero to 60 mph flies by in just 3.5 seconds, while adaptive suspension allows you to tailor the ride quality for a handling-focused ride or a soft, comfortable setup. And with the 738-horsepower BMW XM Label, you'll have even more performance firing through the xDrive all-wheel drive system.
Technology
With the BMW Remote App, you can use your smartphone as a remote to start and lock your new BMW XM even when you're miles away. You can also adjust climate control settings before you get in for a drive, and scheduling service appointments can be done in a matter of minutes.
Once behind the wheel, the BMW XM features a widescreen curved display that integrates both the infotainment display and instrument cluster, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto make for an effortless smartphone integration. This widescreen display is customizable via a drag-and-drop feature similar to your smartphone. That makes it easier to relocate your most-used apps and settings so you can have the exact home screen you want. In addition, you can utilize the split pane setup to see wider shots of navigation maps, performance and efficiency data, and media at a glance.
Safety
With the BMW Driver Assistance Professional suite of features, you'll enjoy a semi-autonomous driving experience that allows you to have a more relaxed ride on marked highways and roads around greater Denver.
