Performance
Let's get right to it - what does this hybrid BMW
X5 have going on under the hood? You'll be happy to know it kicks off with a
3.0-liter BMW TwinPower turbo six-cylinder engine, while the electric motor is
integrated into the system. The total output combined is 389 horsepower and 443
pound-feet of torque, while the electric motor alone generates 111 horsepower
and 77 pound-feet of torque.
That may not seem like much, but since the electric motor
is only there to assist in initial acceleration, low speed crawling, and
helping maintain highway speeds, it doesn't need to pack a huge punch to be
effective. Just by taking stress off of the engine you'll see fuel economy
figures near 50 MPGe, and the new X5 PHEV can even go up to 30 miles on
electric power alone!

Exterior Design
From the outside, the new BMW X5 PHEV looks just
like any other X5 SAV, with classic
BMW touches blended with modern elements to make for a truly striking luxury
vehicle. The kidney grille, dual-halo LED headlights, high-riding
stance, and broad shoulder lines are all still there, so you'll still impress
as you cruise through your Denver neighborhood. Meanwhile,
all-LED exterior lighting and cladding on the bumpers and fenders give the
modern look you're after.

Interior Design
Inside,
the 2023 BMW X5 PHEV is all about your comfort. Featuring touches like real wood grain, plush
leather, and a power panoramic moonroof, the X5 plug-in hybrid delivers a
premium interior experience. Select from a variety of trim
and upholstery colors to find the right fit, and take advantage of ambient
interior lighting to adjust the mood of your cabin with gentle, colorful
glows. Heated
and ventilated seats promise to keep you comfortable through the Colorado winters and summers alike.

Technology
Thanks to the integrated BMW Intelligent Personal
Assistant in the X5 xDrive45e, struggling with your infotainment system is
a thing of the past. Now, just say "Hey BMW…." and instruct your vehicle to change everything
from your next navigation destination to how hot or cold the cabin
is, without ever taking your eyes off the road.

Safety
The new BMW X5 PHEV doesn't slouch when it
comes to keeping you safe. With an intelligent cruise control feature that
traces lanes, executes lane changes, and can even anticipate upcoming exits, drives on I-25 are that much more convenient.
And all the while, forward collision alert and automatic emergency braking are
there to back you up in case of an unexpected hazard ahead.
