The purpose of BMW i technology is to provide emissions-free mobility. However, its role in overseeing a more sustainable future is not just limited to transforming transportation on the road. The BMW Group is also supplying lithium-ion batteries for the electric propulsion of Torqueedo motorboats.

If the BMW X6 M50d xDrive can stand up to the extreme winter conditions and snow covered mountain roads of Romania, we are confident it can conquer any Denver thoroughfare.

The Stanislav Cociorva and Ecaterina Cernei creative couple, known as “neat.graphics” or Stanly & Katya, were there to make a short movie about the wild, snow covered mountains of the Eastern European country, and the BMW X6 helped them navigate the extreme conditions.

BMW of Denver was purchased by North Carolina-based Sonic Automotive Inc. three years ago. The company spent $28 million on high-tech showrooms and service centers for Mercedes-Benz and BMW of Denver, and last month the dealerships celebrated the makeover with hundreds of customers, company executives and city officials.

The contractor on the projects, Chicago-based W.E. O’Neil, said the Mercedes-Benz project was about 91,000 square feet, and the BMW project came in at 71,875 square feet.
