The 2027 BMW X5 is fully redesigned, boasting new exterior and interior details, new engine options, and an overhauled cabin experience. The base 2027 BMW X5 will be powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, using a 48-volt mild-hybrid system to deliver 394 horsepower and 428 lb-ft of torque, an improvement of 19 horsepower and 45 lb-ft of torque over the previous X5. A plug-in hybrid model will also be available, producing 483 hp and 516 lb-ft.
New features for the 2027 BMW X5 include a large 17.9-inch display in the center of the dashboard, a 3D head-up display, and an integrated system that includes touchscreen media, navigation, and interior controls. Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane-Keeping Assist, and other driver-assist systems are more intuitive than before, while rear passengers have more room to spread out.
